Workshop Program 2024 | Storytelling Through Clay, Movement and Poetry Painting.
Each workshop will be its very own unique experience, however, all the workshops will be in relationship to one another. You are welcome to join one or take part in all four. Everything is possible!
Taking part in all four, you will work round a larger creative cycle, alongside the seasons. I will also be giving ideas to continue working in between and beyond, if you wish. Each workshop will be £45 per person. *Sliding scale available on request. To take part in all four, there will be 20% off the total price. This would come to £144 total. The date to book to receive the discount is by the first workshop on March 16th.
All materials for all workshops including clay, firing and yummy refreshments on the day will be provided!

‘Personal Myths’ / Clay and Storytelling | In this workshop we will be working with clay and reading from short stories to find the form of our own inner mythical figures. You will be guided with short meditations, music and movement in creating works of art. We will be working across various art forms such as clay, poetry and movement. Incorporating the gentle essence of spring into our inspiration, we begin a gentle creative journey of 2024.
*All clay works can have the opportunity to be ‘pitfired’ later in the summer.

‘Inner Landscapes’ / Movement, Land Art, Poetry | In this workshop, we will be exploring the landscape of the woods and river around Larchwood to draw inspiration from outdoors making land art sculptures outside. Enjoy the summer energy and being collaborative with each other!

‘Body Maps’ / Movement and Painting | In this workshop we will be moving into our inner world, exploring personal metaphors through movement and art making. Embracing the autumn nature of letting go, we find new personal meanings and embracing what is.

‘The Movement of Dreams’ / | Poetry and Painting | Moving deeply inwards we reside into the dream world. Inspired by Jungian 'Active Imaginations' we use a combination of meditation, movement, poetry and painting to dialogue with our own dreams finding new meaning in our artworks.
